method of selecting a sample in which the researcher identifies strata of the
population and determines the number of participants to be selected from each

technique in which researchers divide the population into strata and then
select individuals in proportion to predetermined quotas.
Polit dan Beck (2017), quota sampling is a
method of selecting a sample in which the researcher identifies the important
characteristics of the population and selects a sample that reflects those characteristics
in the same proportions as they exist in the population.
Bryman (2016), quota sampling is a nonprobability sampling
technique in which the researcher selects a sample based on predetermined
quotas for certain characteristics of the population, such as age, gender, or
